Could I get from lvl 70 to 75 with 7 days Congo unlocked?

Hi all, I'm tempted to give this game a second chance with the next incoming ocean map and next sea fishing locations (as devs said). So I'm now at lvl 70 and I never went to Congo. Do you think that is possible to get from lvl 70 to 75 fishing there after buy the DLC with premium account too or I would only wasted my money and would it be better to wait for the new map?

If possible I would to relax and no fish for crazy grind. But if needed about 6hrs a day surely!

6hrs a day for 7 days seems reasonable time to get what you want and premium is part of that DLC for 7 days so don't buy extra premium until you done with DLC

It's definitely possible. If just going for XP then fish at night out past the Waterfall buoys with a 6" night shad on a carolina rig and 12/0 or 14/0 offset hook. Every time you land a Trophy or Uni Perch advance to the next night and repeat. If you want to farm in game cash after you hit level 75 then the tigerfish are the best bet.

Do some research and you can get to lvl 80 easy. I get two Uni Perch in under an hour in-game during early and late night peaks. Then rinse and repeat. I also stay away from the falls and leave the anchor off. The hardest thing will be the repetition.

Check youtube for nile perch spots and use the kayak or rubber dinghy, with anchor off.
White shad and 12 or 14/0 hook and grind grind grind :)

wishing we could have a separate tackle box and vest for saltwater items... would hate to repack everything if we decide to change to a diff location

You have 4 more days to get to level 80 and then you will need to level to whatever the ocean map requires.

If you get to level 80 before Jun 5 keep grinding towards rank, but stop before you reach it that way that XP will go towards level 81...

It doesn't work that way. Rank freezes when the level cap is raised and you start level 80 at zero XP. Then when you reach the new max level your Rank unfreezes and you carry on ranking from that point.

Once again, it does not work that way. I tried that a few years ago. Your Rank XP freezes when the new level cap is released and the XP bar drops to ZERO of level 80 and you start the climb to 81. Once you reach the new max level your Rank XP returns to where it was when the level cap was raised. Is that communication enough for you?

I will test this on Jun 5th, I thought it worked before... I left all my accounts on the edge of reaching next rank if it doesn't hold true I can return to my accounts on PlayStation and Xbox to move forward, since I haven't played them since last year.
