Im on weeping willows im level 67 rank 21 i have fished today on my normal spots for over 6 hours in game time now and only had one fish.
It feels like they have nerfed the bites to me.

sounds to me like something is fishy, or in this case, not fishy.... kinda worrying

Well i have now tried sunny and cloudy days and my spots and the same there very very poor fishing.
I have a dedicated server data base all on weeping willows with many carp to 40kg and 1000s of nets of fish and uni carp.
I moved onto this lake at level 34 and im still on here it is the only place im fishing and some thing dont seem right to me.
I have also checked the leader boards and a lot of the top players are also not on there now for some reason and the fish size has got smaller.
I will keep on trying for a few more days see how i get on.
I have spoken to someone regarding this and was told he had heard that it has been nerfed in order to get players off there and onto the new map.
I have no idea as to if there is any truth in this.
I do hope things will get better as the devs are not known to do things like this on this lake.
May also try check my game files see if there is a problem there.
I have been at Weeping Willow for 3 real life nights now and the bite rate is horrible. It's a shame because my 1 year premium runs out in 3 weeks but I have no desire to renew it now. I'm not going to pay money to just sit there and not catch fish. I can do that in my own backyard for free.

This happens every time they release a new waterway. They nerf the bite rates on all the older ones to try to get people to buy DLC pond passes for the new one. Why I uninstalled this a few months back.

It is also happening at Bolivia too. Bites suddenly stopped even though i was on peak time. Hope it gets sorted out soon DEVS.

I gave up on carp and went to BCI last night. The bite rate seemed ok there. Maybe not as good as it was previously but at least I was catching fish.

I just submitted another report and of course no response.

Seems the one constant when playing these games is acknowledgement of the issue never comes.

Sounds like a sales tactic to me.

And if you report a fault with the reporting process. ie they do not answer tickets, they will move said complaint to a less used part of the forum to hide it. They will then cease replying to that issue as it is hidden.

i just went to my normal spot in Florida just to see what the bite rates really like, getting fed up with glitched Arapaimas, and bouncy reel ins..... OMG, normally fish are throwing themselves into my net, so fast i can't normally keep up with 4 rods, but, this was a disaster, i read all my e-mails, deleted some texts and read how to make Berliners. before my first bite, i even went downstairs and made a mug of tea, and still nothing............. come on FP, show your junior players a little love
