Game not working on Linux?

I'm running mint 17.
When I start the game it says I'm in game for a second and then I go back to online.

Basically it crashes instantly/won't launch after the "preparing to launch" screen.

Linux isn't supported yet - theres a big topic on it somewhere in the forums.

OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10 (x64 x86), Mac OS X (x64 x86)

Hello, it's an error on the filename, you just need to set the steam startup of fishing planet to ./FishingPlanet.x86_64 %command% from the developers: http://steamcommunity.com/app/380600/discussions/0/541907867759794157/#c492378806378811649

GNU/Linux is support ... there's a tiny Steam icon on the store which say SteamOS ...

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fixed it by adding "./FishingPlanet.x86_64 %command%" to launch options. Playing the game just fine now.

How the hell would you know that? I just installed the game and it appears to broken! Luckily I found your post with the fix! Thank you. This should be in there when you install it!
