Ah ok.
Does anybody know if a friend can by a DLC for you as gift then ? Even if you already have it ? Probably also no ? Steam will probably say the friend already own it yes ?
Not on the steam version, you can only buy a DLC once each, whereas the microsoft store version of this game allows you to buy as many of each DLC as you want and is crossplay between PC and Console, the steam edition of fishing planet is dead content.
What u mean by saying steam edition is dead content? is there a difference between the versions? Is it worth to switch from steam to microsoft?
That's just someone talking out of his @ss. You can play both The Steam version and the Microsoft version(I do) and they are exactly the same. I think the Steam platform is the most popular platform though. I use Steam for my main account and I play the Microsoft version as a true free to play game just to fish for fun.

Juts FYI, I think Steam is the first platform to get any major updates. Microsoft and PS versions tend to be done a week or so later.
