I absolutely love the name mate, had me in stitches.
The game doesn't support VR at the moment, maybe someday in the future it could be implemented. After a trial of VR the following was posted :
Killerwhale [developer] 30 Oct, 2017 @ 2:54am
VR problems
- Teleports due to motion sickness
- No force feedback
- Potentially unlimited force may be applied to the fish
This will cause VR players to play on the own server/sandbox due to changes in physics and competitions. Also, VR UI must be changed to let you operate comfortably in UI.
We already did this before, and maybe we will do it in the form of DLC and some restriction to competition/tournaments
So if you just need a prototype as VR Beta - this is possible but hard. With production quality - a lot of things must be done. Maybe a good idea is to fishing all type of motorboats and adds VR after it?
That might be the case if you had to pay to download, install and play this game. The game is free. If you install it and buy DLC without playing for a while then that's really on you.
