i had no luck catching the eldergar i was only catching catfish i just used my last skull bait how can i get more? please help

You might be able to get more doing what you did to get it in the first place, I'm not 100% sure how that works

Go into your missions and it should be there to track again. I believe that's the one to catch shad right?
