Is there any benefit to changing the angle of the rod stand?
I have RodPod Quartet™ Rod Stand. This rod stand allows you to adjust the angle up or down. When do you adjust the angle?(What are the benefits of adjusting the angle?)

Likely for visual purpose to give a better view on the tugging of the line, due
standing position and placing the stand(s) on uneven or lower elevation of the ground.

Yes when you're fishing in Europe with bottom rods and the after shy biting fish like roach etc. With the rods pointing skywards you will often see indications of a bite without the bell ringing if you're a lower level player.

It might help with loosing fish due to the low line tension when you have to juggle multiple rods, it's just a theory...

Thank you very much. When I was fishing for eels at German, they didn't hang on hooks, so I raised the angle of the rod stand to make it higher. The higher the angle of the rod stand, the more likely it is that the eel will hang on the hook? Maybe it's because I used a barbless hook.

Those eels can be elusive,
especially that river with fast moving current,
correct spot,
a ' tight ' tension line, Big Ali or Bottom rod,
patience for a bite at the right weather and pressure suffice.

Thanks for your advice. I was able to catch a unique eel in Germany. It was difficult.

You can have the rods down at a lower angle so that you dont get a sore neck looking up, lol.
