Leveling from 45 to 50+

Can Anyone give me some advice on where the best place to grind xp between these levels? I have been fishing st. croix mainly. Good xp and money but i need a change of scenery. Plus money isnt an issue right now, im more interested in unlocking the higher level locations

Ahktuba is real good for Beluga (can't keep but good xp) Pike, Zander and Wels catfish, all species to uni size. Use titanium leaders though. Near the rail bridge is a great spot.
Probably the best though if you're level 50 is Weeping Willows in the UK. I was so impressed with the levelling up ability of this place, so many uni carp you barely notice the trophies, I bought an unlimited license. You'll need carp gear and know how-though, but it's not necessary to buy a spod rod, just use pva bags. Big carp hooks work best here.

Go to California use duck muscle which is good for sturgeon and carp, use 6/0 hook to avoid pesky catfish

Thanks all, yea im looking forward to the lakes i still need to unlock. im lvl 46 now so no aktuba. I had heard alaska could be good but ive never really fished there because i didnt have good enough equipment. I may now, i just havent tried. Never tried fishing those things in cali, i have a few quests i need to do there anyway so ill probably give that a shot

Hi Woj, sorry wasn't sure what level you were. So your best bet is probably California for levelling up with the Sturgeon and trophy Carp. Fish from the island towards the 2nd island for the carp with big baits on big hooks like 8/0 upwards, mussel works well. For the Sturgeon cast into the deeper channel to the right of the small island, you're looking for 13-15 ft. Use large cutbaits or Crayfish on size 10/0.
