Basic Texas and Michigan License

Hey, I started playing yesterday and love the game. However, I encountered an issue where I fished in Texas and in Michigan and was fined for nearly all fish even though in my inventory it said that I had unlimited basic access to both lakes. First I thought it was a visual bug but I actually got fined 50 money per fine. Even my map shows that all the fish are red and as if I have zero licenses.

When I logged today both licenses were gone and I had to buy basic ones to continue playing (texas one is actually far to expensive to even consider it even though it should be free).

My son who also plays has both basic licenses from the get go and can fish whatever he wants on those 2 lakes (except pike and gar).

Can this bug be fixed?

For texas it is free michigan isn't you need buy licenses for the lake, cost to travel, and tackle stuff. For basic it means basic you should read what says some them you have to release most your catch and some you have to keep. Thats standard practice make sure have all the gear you need before just going. That said they do need overhaul the tutorials I think before allowing you travel to another lake. Just looked theres only two fish you can keep with basic both are bullheads in michigan. Every other fish needs be thrown back

the only place you get basic unlimited licences free is texas(lone star) and missuri(mud river) YOU DO NOT GET ANY LICENCES IN MICHIGAN FREE unless you have premium ;) then you get all basic licences/or advanced depending on the premium you bought

Yes I get it I don't know all the details because info he's provided isn't great based on the info hes told us hes has unlimited basic getting fines. If he is keeping the fish other then bull heads hes gonna get a fine he hasn't given much info pictures work wonders on bugs along with info other info so for texas I don't know about that but those would be two different issues and not the same bug. More info is needed is what I am saying.

I had basic unlimited licenses for Texas and Missouri when I started a few days ago but was also fined when I kept any fish as if I didn't have them. Then they just disappeared from my inventory. And I don't get why the basic Texas license even costs money in the shop if it is supposed to be free.

Hey. Yeah sorry if my explanation lacked proper information, sadly, i am not a native speaker and try my hardest to explain in as much detail as I can.

But Pulsar and Purple Tentacle nailed it. My issues are the same as Tentacles' I can't even fish in Texas because I get fined :(.

I'm having similar problems. It told me I had an unlimited MO license, but then I got fined and the license disappeared. I've never had an unlimited Texas license and have to buy to fish there.

No they haven't. The issue is still here but I have noticed I wrote MIchigan but I meant missouri. I have no free licenses and need to buy basic one's in both starting lakes :(.

It's a bug. I had the same thing right after I did the tutorial. First I had both licenses but it said on the map I couldn't fish. Then after relogging both licenses were gone from the inventory.
To get it solved, contact FP through [e-mail] and they will solve it for you (aka send you credits so you can purchase the licenses). Took me about a day before it was fixed, so don't expect them to respond within an hour or two :).
