Can't catch any fish

Sometimes I play 2 or more hours(real time) , but catch nothing! I doubt is a network or server problem. Should I use vpn?

what are you trying to catch, what place are you fishing, what rod reel line and lure setup are you using for it.

Street63. I can relate with you. I also spend time at the waters edge fish through a "Peak period" WITH THE RIGH TACKLE & SETUP and walk away empty handed. So! In a sense the game must be very realistic because that does happen IRL to me. I also have done the "Verify the ingrity of the games cache" with no change at all. I wait for the servers to "Rebooted" with a very samll improvement. I have nothing to encourage you with but to tell you, You are not alone.

Do you have Premium and have paid for a full year? It might just be if it's done on a more regular basis "Monthly" you are kept on the hook by catching fish. But if it is an Anual license........? No statement been made, but a question is being suggested.

I love the game and would really appreciated issues being fixed rather than having a hundred and one NEW items being added to keep some entertained.

Keep fishing mate, maybe oneday somebody will focus on what is required rather than a MILE long wishlist

but what about the weather? certain ones charted only come out in certain periods of times, regardless of any peak period.

for example, I could catch a bunch of simple small panfish at midnight easily, which would be so far off the peak times chart. sometimes it's because they're nocturnal. sometimes it's because they like to hang out in certain areas at different times of day and whether weather is a factor.

Well, I have successfully catch many walleye in newyork in rainy day , but sometimes I just cant catch any from morning to evening. I try every lure and technique I used before at different place, but get nothing in the end.

Go to your Steam Library
Right click on the Fishing Planet game
Select " Properites"
Go to " Local Files " tab
Click on "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

It takes some time and is not useful to help you catch "more". It is useful, to many, if you are catching nothing, no where.

I think there is a major bug but it is so finite nobody would notice it unless you were looking for a problem. All to do with this fish has gone bait moved. for some reason if this ever happens the fishing soon after will produce next to nothing in the way of bites if at all. you need restart the game as soon as it happens. Everything seems to freeze at the point of the fish supposedly taking your bait as normal but it didn't and the game is in an infinite hang thinking your playing the fish. I too sat for nearly an hour and nothing. no matter what method even with 1 a chuck species. then reset game and bingo normal practice resumed. Just putting it out there. Code is code and 1 glitch the whole lot goes up the swanny :)

They aren't. They work great but if you are fishing off-peak times or with a lure too big combined with a high barometer you'll get lots of mised strikes and disappointment.
