Level 22 now; question on XP | locations | Alberta?

If interested in leveling should I stay in Alaska? I checked out Alberta & the action is much slower than Alaska. Thanks for your time/info

Yes. Stay in alaska.
But if you're level 22 now, what are you leveling for? More gear?
That's a lot of grinding for a minor improvement.

the new floros (0.55/0.60) are lvl 23 two new rods and two new reels also 23 for bulk spools of new lines is 24 :Dtheres some reasons to go higher than 22 :D

I guess it depends on how fast you can grind.
Look at the leaderboard. There's always a few guys who are level 24, making 500,000 xp
per week, and have 1,500 fish to their name.
Doesn't work that way for me, so it isn't worth the grind for slightly better gear.
i can catch everything now, so it isn't a problem.

the new rods are handy cos it allows you to cast far with heavy line so no more casting over reeds if you dont want to :D

Alberta is a wasteland. Until the developers re-work it I wouldn't bother going there other than to just see what it's like. They need to fix the catch rates because the expense, xp and rewards are pathetic compared to Cali, Michigan and Alaska. This is obvious when you go there and you're all by yourself in the chat- soooooper boring place to fish.

Here's a *really rough* estimate of the rewards you could expect in the higher level locations:
Cali- 6000xp, 2000 cash,10 gold per day (1 uni)
Michigan similar with more like 50 gold (2 unis)
Alaska 12000xp, 1500 cash and 200 gold (4 unis) *** this is with the 660lb net-- all other locations are for 220lb.
Alberta 750xp, 750 cash, no gold unless you're really lucky.
Please don't flame for innacuracy- those are estimates only so if you want to make them more accurate, by all means post your numbers :)

The larger net does make a difference for the other locations as well. Had no problem filling up the big net recently in Alberta which makes it much more viable $ wise but yes still need some love to make it not so meh there.
