Stupid inappropriate usernames

Why do some players have such ridiculous username? such as 'b^st^rd in them?
Also there's a player called ButtF^ckedSquirrel on the game.

People need to know that there are some younger players out there who play this game....have some respect !!

Maybe the devs could ban certain words when signing up?

Use ignore and problem solved. I can understand if someone is whining about offensive names but couple of digits won't harm anyone. You are guys not playing an MMORPG on RP server to have reason to complain.

He's been reported many times I'm sure. They obviously won't do anything about inappropriate names. I just saw him in a lobby earlier. It doesn't bother me personally but I'm sure those with kids playing probably don't like it, though it may be one of their kids with the name lol.

I think it's a bad idea not to be able to use numbers or signs in your name. That would mean I had to change my ingame name J_3 to something else. And I really don't think my ingame name is offensive in any way.

Just use the report option to report people who have offensive names built by letters and/or signs.

J_3 is pronouncable phoinetically. Jay Three. The underscore isn't a special character any more than a question mark or period.

Yes, but if you werent allowed to use 1-9 and signs (as someone suggest earlier in this thread) it would still mean I had to change my username.

I do not believe that the proposal is realized, but "Jeppe" is not a bad name instead of "J_3":) I'm sorry to have caused excitement. I learned a lot from Jeppe's (J_3) videos

I couldnt register with "Jeppe" when I started playing tho, the name was allready taken (even tho the game had only been out for a week at the time), so I first took the name "J3pp3". Everybody started calling me J3 so I just figured I change it to that, but the game required at least three characters in the username so therefor it became "J_3".

You don't need to be sorry, I understand the reason to why you suggested only a-z in the username. I just gave an example to why I thought that was not a good idea. =)
