I caught a Monster Fish twice

Specifically a Voodoo Fish, I casted my Bottom Rod and my Float Rod at the same location and both of them hooked something at the same time, I caught the first one with my Float rod and the second one with my Bottom rod.

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Congratulations! It's not a bug, consider yourself lucky. You can catch 2 if they bite at the same time.

If that's the case maybe we just have to make sure 2 or more rods hooked on something before landing the Monster, just keep the monster hooked while waiting for the other rods hooked something too xd

That's a big if, sometimes regular fish bites on special bait and sometimes you loose 2nd fish due to the low line tension...

I managed 3/4 on the sturgeon leviathans, smallest one was 229lbs, sure felt good after grinding all those pike...

There shouldn't be a limit on catching Monster Fish, you should catch as many as you WANT...
