due to too many rods out, stuck sinkers, fish response to bait bugged somewhere, connection issue
( playing from Asia, have high pings, poor server response at times might have an effect on fish spawning ),
event may affect the spawns due to unfortunate conflicts perhaps,
... etc factors.
Switching rods around, reducing rods number, chance of spots or map server, fresh game restart may help.

No it has not nerfed the tigers any smaller, but last couple of days heaps of uni' were caught mainly around the waterfall areas, I noticed a changed the catfish catches up not down using lures.
Which spot are you fishing, mind you there is over 12 spots in the map to catch tigers.

same spot for past 6 weeks, and most of the tigers were 27lb and over,now all around 20 lb.
goliath,s were there and I would catch at lest 40% of my catch were goliath
its only tigers now and one or 2 goliath,s
trophys far and few between

Im not asking for help to catch fish I can do that on my own,I was stating a fact ,Imho I believe that the bite rate has changer and the size have changed.
they have done this to every lake in the game

your Exactly Right This Whole fishing game went down hill, ever since they Nerf it. now it takes forever to level up...

It seems Ok in the 1st 30 game minutes 4 fish 3 tigers and 1 goliath. Biggest tiger 38lbs and goliath 54lbs...
After 1 game hour I have 286lbs of tigers

lvl 80 ps4 here and hes not wrong. i used to catch uni goliath at the dam and now i never catch a goli uni just the african ones but this was only on pc. pc has fewer fish on all lakes ive been playing this game for almost three years over two systems and somethings up. im at amazon now and i can barely fill my basket. and everyone uses bottom rods to catch uni arapaima on ps4 its float rods so its not even close to the same

there is no money in getting fish from developers view. mabey they make some people not get bites hoping to they spend more money and also using up there premium. like i said i cant prove it but ive played long enough to catch a uni right? so why does it not work hmmm?
