This or UFS1/2

Hello guys, as title says, I'd like to know which one is better, this or Ultimate Fishing Simulator (1 or 2)? I know this is F2P, but it also has lots of expensive packs. Are they needed to fully enjoy the game?

I prefer Fishing Planet; however, I did enjoy UFS1 as well. I suggest you watch some youtube videos to make your own comparison. I would forget UFS2 because it is being developed by Master Code. This is the same company that abandoned games like Professional Fishing and Fishing Adventure. My friend just bought it and it only took 9 minutes for him to request a refund from steam. And, he got the refund in less than one hour. Good luck.

The only thing real money is NEEDED for is if one wants to own a boat with a rod stand. Otherwise everything purchasable is 100% optional, and not needed to enjoy or advance through this game.

UFS 1 and 2 are both worthwhile games IMO. Buy the UFS 1 in discount and you'll have a better time than being F2P in FP, honestly.

Are you confused? I said it is better COMPARED TO BEING F2P IN FP. A bit different compared to actually paying a bit and getting some stuff. I did however reach level 20 on the android version without paying, but didn't have much fun grinding emerald infinitely. If you are just going to buy UFS 1 for 3 bucks then it is better, if you are a beginner, IMO, than being a free player in FP.

Clarifying: FP, much better for experienced and paid players. UFS, better for newbs and cheap cost for quite much content (even without DLC).

Both is fun in their own way. I play both of them. ( FP and UFS2). UFS2 is a lot of fun and the developers have done an amazing job so far with no less than 9 updates in the first 6 days fixing bugs and implementing changes the community asks for. I have never seen such an active dev team that listens so well to their players like those guys.

FP is a very good game, but I would like to have something different, BUT no game until now comes close to FP unfortunately. Unfortunately, I say, not because FP sucks, but for me personally to get some variety, that's just how I am haha....

And to be honest, I bought UF2 and returned it directly after 10 minutes. While it's an EA game right now, it doesn't justify making such a bad game.
