Bobber differences?
Is there anything to look for in a bobber other than floating weight in this game? I read some FP wiki descriptions, and it reads like advertisements for the real life versions. Things like "high quality plastic....durable" or "bright eye-catching colors" are not really relevant information in this game.

Basically, are there pros and cons to using one bobber over another in the same weight class? All I can think of might be casting further, less visible to fish, or more sensitive to nibbles, but I'm not sure the game does any of that.

For one thing, float poles have a maximum terminal tackle weight that includes both the float and the weight of the bait, so you can sometimes downsize float weight slightly to cast with heavy bait without risking pole damage. Slim floats are good for fishing with light bait like bloodworms because they are more sensitive as you said. I haven't used sport floats much but I want to try them sometime. Slip floats can only be used with match rods, not telescopic poles. They are special because they can be used with long float leader lengths.

What about slider and waggler floats? I can't tell what is the difference between them.

Sliders are used when fishing deep and waggler in shallow according to their descriptopns. Cant say I personally noticed any difference in terms of catch rate when using them tho.

Yes, that's what the description says but I can't tell why sliders are better in deep water and wagglers in shallow. I have done a bit of testing and they both have an adjustable leader length up to 5 meters.
