Blacktail shiner

Apologies if this has been asked and answered before. I'm level 9 and have been primarily at Lone Star. For 2-3 weeks now I have been trying to fish around the entire lake to catch the blacktail shiner, to no avail. I have watched multiple videos on different spots, i've tried dough balls, red worms, bread, and pretty much everything else. I've tried fishing in the middle part of the lake, next to the vegetation, nothing works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Might be worth mentioning that I have caught everything else for the Lone Star challenge, except the blacktail shiner. I've caught the blacktail shiner in other locations, just not Lone Star and it is quite frustrating.

Fish near the lillies off the bridge and you should get them fishing quite shallow with the recommended baits, dough balls and bread work well as do redworms and maggots.

6# hook. dough balls or semolina balls. fish on the bottom, close in to any vegetation

I would fish at least 1 float real shallow and one bottom rod at the same time. Small hooks #6 or #8. bloodworms work good if you are high enough level to buy them, if not the other baits mentioned work.

Finally got it with dough balls, #6 hook, and fishing on the bottom in the water lilies. Thanks again for all the advice
