Buying a Boat

Hi guys,
I´ve been wodering for some time already if I should get a boat or not and since I can´t buy it with baitcoins or buy a Pack that brings one a non premium boat will have to do.
At level 31 and with 60k money, at this point excluding the Kayaks it´s close to the first MotorBoat price.
Allthough it´s fun the thought and say "I should buy a boat" and "I´m gonna buy a boat" I am really undecided about it and I would like to have some opinions and sugestions from more experienced players that already know the Pros and Cons around buying a boat and it´s usage. Aswell if it worth or not and wich are the best options. That said I ask:
Does worth it to buy a Boat(any) at this point and level?
Does worth it to invest on a Motorboat? Or a Kayak has about the same usage and may be a better option for now(thinking of the long run with progress unlocking others)?
Should I aim to buy the first Motorboat or keep progressing until I unlock better ones?
Excluding price tags and materials what is the best motorboat choice between the Skiff and Rubber boat?
Does any boat come with Rod Holder on an oprion to place a Rod Holder?

I really appreciate any and every opinion, sugestions and information regarding the Boats and it´s features that may help me to reach a decision.

Never liked Muska engine sometimes hard to start and difficult to read sonar depth the next metal boat would be better option it got bigger sonar and 10hp engine top speed 25 km/hr like 15.5 miles

As far as kayak you can get one for free during Xmas event

Thanks for replying to my post and for sharing your thoughts on this. I don´t know where I can see Top speeds but 5hp is more power so it makes sense that must be an improvement over the Muska engine wise. Also have an Advanced Sonar instead of a Basic Sonar, whatever those are and do, it does sound to be better. Allthough it´s 10500 more cash and 3 more levels, still a big XP grind.
That said, maybe you don´t know how to answer to this but, does it worth the wait for that one?

Either one will get you to where you need to go. As far as free kayak all you need to do is to ride antlered salmon for 1/4 mile at moose lake and you will receive elfs kayak made by the elfs lol

You will need to rent a kayak for a day

No not yet you'll see Xmas tree in moose lake by boat dock and Santa flying in the sky, but during holowin event you can also get same kayak by riding ghost pikes I don't know why

I didn´t find any information about that event being on at the moment and all I see is about 2018, 2019 and 2020. Is that event working at this moment?

Allright, I´ll wait a little longer and keep an eye on events coming out. Grabbing that free Kayak can actually answer a couple of questions and making it a less impostant acquisition for the moment give me time to strategize better the right Boat purchase.

The rubber boat would be better choice they faster and more maneuverable. None have rod holders for exception new DLC

Yes get a boat. All boats are basically the same aside from aesthetics and the trolling motor. Get one with a trolling motor.
