Fishing Planet sunglasses in store?

I noticed sun glasses in game in the fishing planet store. Anybody ever bought any? Do they actually do anything? If so what? Or are they just for looks so you can look cool in your fishing screen shots?

They do cut down on glare, the more expensive ones seem to me to aid see'ing fish at some lakes. They do need to be the clear water lakes and then not into the deeps.
I like them, but I do now forget to put them on, even as I am muttering about the glare. I would say you do not need all three pairs unless they offer them on sale again.
