Emerald Lake Monster Fish?
I was using a 7 gram casting spoon on my featherlight 190, espira slim 2500 and 2.5 kg line doing stop and go on 1 speed near the weed beds on the dock when suddenly the bar rose up to yellow straight on, thinking it was a small fish i foolishly let it run a bit and when i tried to get it back it had already ran out to 137m and then 168 and while I fought it for around 13 minutes it broke my line. Does anybody know what kind or type of fish it was?

You may/might encounter some larger fish at Emerald during events like the 4th of July event currently running. Possible suspects could include the historic northern pike (4 kg), uni chain pickerel (3.1 kg), historic walleye (2.8 kg) or maybe a uni sauger (3.0 kg).
Chain pickerel like to hunt in the area you described but a pike is also a possibility.

2.5 kg line it could have been a decent Walleye. A pike would likely have bitten you off.

Most common is northern pike specially if you have no leader in your gear set up.
