how to get a boat

Hello

how do you get a boat (motor?)
do you need a permit? what level ?
because I don't see them in the game store

The Waterway Shops will have limited items in them. Leave Waterways to visit the Home Shops which have Unlimited items, Boats etc. and Cheaper per item.

You can hire them from level 1 if lakes support them, Emerald lake at level 8 is first lake for boating.
Buy one through a dlc for instant ownership, lake has to support boat useage to be able to use.
Buying, in game, earliest purchase. Find under boats tab of store.
Kayak. Level 9 for credits level 5 for bait coins.
Motor boat, Level 30 for credits, level 20 for bait coins.
Bass boat level 45 for credits, level 30 for bait coins.

All that said, you do not need to buy a boat till the end game lakes. Alberta and Saint Croix can be farmed from the shore, though if you wish you can hire one to get to far shore or fishing platform. Blue Crab and Maku Maku you really need a boat to fish well. Marron River and the amazon maze a boat improves the experiance of fishing there.

You can also buy them as dlc regardless of level.

So I can not use for example a kayak that i bought on every lake? On how much lakes is it possible to use a bought boat/kayak at all? Is there any option to use more than one fishing rod in a kayak or boat?

When you click on a waterway there will be an icon of a guy paddling a kayak right above the level requirement if boats are allowed at that waterway. There are no rod holders on boats.

At the moment you can only use 1 rod on a boat. However when these guys made the stuff for "The Fisherman" a buy once spin-off of this game, included with that were 2 rod pods on each boat so you could not only troll but also use up to 3 rods on a boat. I believe TF has a 1 year exclusivity for this, then it will be ported over to this game too.

It's a lot longer then a year, my friend. They may have a year left but it's been like 5 already. Additionally the congo boat in the DLC has the 2 rod stands in it.
