Braid line
So I know braid line is very visible to fish, but how much does it affect your chances of catching a fish?

it depends what fish, catfish dont care at all really so your fine there and i would much prefer braid for it becuase i can fit more on the reel.

bass it dpends on water clarity and technique used (irl anyway)
for example, if im fishing a spinnerbait/topwater in really murky water it wont really matter,
if im slowly moving a worm/jig in really clear water the small ones might not care but smarter ones will.

trout it matters ALOT they are very skittish and you should always use flurocarbon for them being it is the least visible.

also irl you can use braid and atatch a leader of fluro/mono using a double uni knot/albright know or a couple others.

I know all about braid IRL, but I meant about this game specifically, and not about fish like trout and bass. You can always have fluoro for them, but I meant on a higher level, where I have reels that are strong, but dont have the capacity for big fluoro/mono lines, so I have to use a stronger but thinner braid line that is stronger, to be able to have enough line length. But I dont know if the game uses real life rules of braid fishing. Cuz for example, now in Alaska, I've been fishing with braid and gotten no fish, I switched to fluoro and I started getting bites and hooked fish. Now IDK if the game doesnt work like real life, where a 30kg salmon wont care for braid or fluoro, or if the game is sensitive to braid. I dont know if what happened to me was a coincidence, or if I really didnt get a single fish just cuz of braid. I dont have the time to test it out a lot so I asked here.

what hunter said preety much goes for in game too trout are skittish so use floro but tbh i preety much use floro al the time unless i need to cast far then il switch to braid as its bonus is thinner and casts a fraction further :D

I have caught plenty of Uni Chinooks using 30lb braid so for them it doesn't matter.
