License expired when catching a fish, let him free but get a penalty??? THIS SUCKS -> NOT REAL!!!

At every fish pond in real life where I get a bite at 11:59 and my license expires 12:00 and the drill is longer than one minute (what have expired my license) shouldn't get a penalty! That is in real life so and should be in the game. Thats a fact!

You should have bought a new license first. The game warns you a few minutes before your license expires.

Nope its not. When you drill a fish and the license expire in exactly that moment you should get no penalty when it expire.
Everything other is a cashy ♥♥♥♥♥ hehe you should have know it ♥♥♥♥, bad programming and game design because thats not the way they treat you at any fish pond in real life!!!! Trust me!!!

You caught the fish when your license expired. No license = penalty
You have to make sure that your license is active. It's your own fault for still fishing when your license was about to expire. Usually you wait the last few minutes because you have to expect that a drill will take longer than a few minutes.
Maybe you shouldn't play a fishing game if you don't have patience and blame others.

I totally agree with OP
you don't get charged for staying past 5am if you catch fish without extending the travel fee.
there's no consistency and can be very confusing to new players and vets alike...

Think about a drill get over 5+ minutes before your license expire and you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. This shouldn't be so! Just exclude the drills in this time from penalties. If its a bite past the license everything is fine and good to be punished.
Thats all what I want. Everything beside that is worth a penaltie but in this specific cases there must be a rethink in my eyes. Its not fair at all!!! If i didn't have supported this game by pay some things I just want to quit it right now because of these unfair system...
The only workaround for that to get no penaltie is ALT + F4 when drilling or cut the line. That is not acceptable as good game design or practice. Even realistic c'mon guys...

I can tell you what though, Im a member of a local fishing club here in Sweden where I live. We do have two lakes which public are allowed to fish in if they buy a license. Our rules on the license even goes so far that youre not even allowed to have a fishing tackle in the water outside of the time frame thats stated on the license. So yeah, getting fined for catching a fish with no valid license is very much realistic.

The whole thing should be handeled like the fishing net. If I catch a fish and my net has only 1kg left it still fits in. Same should be for licenses.

IRL (Expired is Expired). I myself haven't seen or read anywhere on my In-Game License that gives me more time after "The fixed period of time agreed upon". This sounds like IRL. But if you’re too young to have ever owned an IRL License then we understand the confusion.

Here in the Uk, if your fishing license expires @ XXXXXX and you are fishing (rod, line, with hook in water, even if you are playing/catching a fish) after XXXXXX, you are classed as fishing illegally.
