Tree Bark Mission

Any advice,best bait to use and item locations?

I used lures, normally spoons (1/0 - 6/0), find a tree or branch touching/in the water. Set out some bait rods nearby and go tree hunting, cast as close as you can to the tree, concentrate on areas with frequent hang ups. Don't remember getting any bark at Lonestar, Texas.

Great info!! Are the different barks located at different locations? Like i saw aspen was in colorado

Couldn't confirm that since it doesn't tell you what type of bark you have caught :(, but remember getting aspen at Quanchkin, Louisiana (was the last one I needed). Hope you find it elsewhere. There was just to many water weeds getting hooked first and took forever.
