Rod Stands Bite Alarm - My Ears Are Bleeding!
so i got me one of the rod stands with bite alarm. which you would think is a great feature.
But it´s so terribly loud and the sound pitch is worse than any alam clock known to mankind!
It literally hurts my ears.
Please give us a seperate volume option for the bite alarm or change the pitch and loudness.
Having to turn the volume off completely or having your ears bleed when getting multiple bites kills the fun!

Me and multiple other have been asking for this since rod stands was released. I guess they dont give a F about this individual volume control, since they still after all these years havent implemented it.

it wasn't so bad before last big patch when they change it.
they also messed it up and had to hot fix the sound/pattern was off the charts.. if you think it's bad now you should have tried back then...

This.

Bite alarms fall under "Environment." Just turn it down to wherever you'd like it to be. Not ideal, but pretty easy fix.

me too, but for now... thats better than let the game make us jump every 1rst nibble or end the gaming session with our "ears bleeding"

as several players wrote a few times, would be nice to have a slider just for the rodstand beeping sound (or maybe a switch to turn the beeping off and just play with the leds), maybe the devs team is too busy to think about it... remember that the game have several bugs and looks like we have a incoming new map..

i dont know how the game's files works, but maybe they just need to lower the volume of the "beepbeepbeeeeepbeep.wav" file to "20%" and insert that in the next patch xD

have fun! :)

PS: add the "boat_vroooooooom.wav" file to the "20% volume down" list..

Well, prolly gonna have to min/max this one. You can have a relaxing day at the lake with one rod and the chirping of bugs and birds; or you can power fish, with 5 rods trying to bore a hole through your head using sound waves alone.

You know I hate to have to give up the regular environment sounds

What would be nice if they made a new channel and put all the incidental sounds like
Bite alarm,Motor boat,Plane,Trains, Ship horn, and the like on it.

Hola a todos,
Estoy tratando de instalar una alarma a la caña pero no ha sido posible.
Me pueden explicar como se debe hacer?
Muchas gracias

you need to buy a rod stand with alarm or attach a bell to your rod. choose rod stand with #9.
you can not place it everywhere. red/green color indicate where you can place it

This is a fact. I accept the fact that if I want a "relaxing" day at the lake, I'm only going to throw out a line or 2 and leave it at that. If I want to "power fish", I'm free to do so but it's going to involve 4 or 5 lines and a lot of noise.

Honestly guys, if you're using bite alarms, they all have a blinking light attached as well. Between that and the actual movement of the rods, you can mute your volume altogether and fish by sight if the volume is that problematic. I do this with the night fishing for Sturgeon in California all the time.

Dont know if you read through the thread, but muting everything also takes away the "environment sounds". Which I and several other players happen to enjoy. Easiest would be for them to just implement a individual volume control for the rodstands.
