Snook everglades
what is the best lures or bait to use for the snook at everglades

Large minnows, shiners, crayfish, shrimp, med spoons and crankbaits are all good choices (4/0).

Just fish for a different fish, and you will catch Snook.

I've never noticed a preference to any particular color of popper, but I usually use my silver and black one.

They'll take a pretty wide range of baits and lures, I think it's really more a matter of finding them. They seem to hang around the mangroves a lot. Anywhere you see wood going into or coming out of the water, there's a good chance you'll find snook there.
