Best Hook Size and Leader Depth to Catch Chain Pickerel in NY?
Hi all,

I know where to fish for them but I'm not sure I can determine the best hook size and leader depth because I seem to catch them routinely using any combination of the following:

Hook sizes: 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 x-series 4/0
Leader Depth: anywhere from 15 to 27 inches
Bait: Shiners

Can anyone make a more specific suggestion based on their own experiences in NY?
