Maggots, red, white or yellow, in what way are they diffrent?
ok guys i'm curious about our three maggots in game, they come in the three colours red, white and yellow, but in which way and what sinario are they more benifical above one another? yes i'm aware in real fishing the simple colour change in a maggot or a combintion of two can make all the diffrence in fish bites, roach for example are suckers for red and they will take them aggresivly, where as carp are known to prefer the subtle yet still bright yellow. but does this happen ingame? does anyone here have a better idea on how the diffrent maggots work in game and please explain why and give examples to how best to use the three colours. ta very much fisher freinds.

Red is always going to be favoured by most fish as it is the closest colour to their natural food source (excluding predatory fish) that being bloodworm. I don't actually think the dynamics of the colour come in to play in game as they do IRL. IRl you would tend to use yellow maggots on swollen rivers where the water is like chocolate and is far better to be seen than a red maggot. Also white maggots are natural in colour much like grubs so wary fish are less intimidated by the natural colour if they are shy feeding fish.

I think for in game its suck it and see. you may well get a difference of effectiveness in the different weather conditions . unlike IRl if they are hungry they will eat pretty much anything. Game is programmed so its search and note taking pretty much.
