Thanks for the info, else i'd be sitting here all week.
I actually wish they wouldn't include these monster fish on the leaderboards for locations, all you see is them. hehe
I found that any fish caught right at the shore or by the boat is a no fight xp boost. They chase it partly on land or out of the water as you're reeling out of the water straight into your hands. hehe
@MadMaxKillsU If you caught one, and completed the quest, then it's done. So only once per account I guess.
If you are using a multi-rod set up you can get multiple Monster Fish on the line at once. I got two Eldergar that way. I almost got 3 Voodoo Cats but could not get pull them in before they got away, and only ended up landing one of them.
