White Moose Lake Exploration 1

I'm trying to figure out how to catch the pumkinseed, chub, and burbot at White Moose Lake. There's very little info on how to catch these fish. Bait, hook size, and depth is kind of a mystery to me.

Now I'm on the second mission, the trial. Got everything but the Lake Whitefish. Do you have any info on that one?

This thread could still be useful to anybody else doing the same missions.

For reference: whitefish can often be caught under the edge of the ice, along the far bank of the lake; opposite where you spawn. At least, that's where I used to fish for them when I was at White Moose (this was a year or so ago, so it might have changed, I know they plan to change the way fish spawn in the US lakes. Not sure if they've done it yet.)

I recently completed this mission. I got the pumpkinseed and the chub to the left of dock real close to rocks. i was literally walking the bait down towards the dam. i seemed to have luck about half way between dam and dock. I think I used red worms for 1 and blood worms for other but not positive. Good Luck
