What is "Home Storage" and how to access?

Buying things in the store but it won't let me use them, says they are in "home storage"...how to access this?

You have to “leave” the lake that you are currently fishing at to return to the “home” location.

The home location has the full shop for all the available bait and gear. Waterway shops have very limited bait and gear. If you have slots in your inventory and buy stuff when you are at a waterway, it will show up in your backpack. If not, it will automatically go to home storage.

If you are getting this message when shopping at the home shop, you do not have enough storage slots in you backpack and will have to buy a bigger tackle box or vest.

When you are "Home" and looking at your gear. there is a "backpack" and "Home" tab. you can drag and drop gear back and forth on the tabs
