I still catch myself on the second lake despite the fact that I have level 25 and even have almost all the licenses, but to go where it is very expensive and I need good fishing rods, fishing line and bait.Only recently I spent 125,000 on the bait and now I have enough for a long time. Now I save for everything else
Really? You appear to have mega hours in this game, and you cannot make a trip profitable?
I went to Alberta to try my hand at Xmas stuff...not that many engaged people to set of fireworks, but my keeper is netting me over $17k per day. No trouble filling it.
Yea Germany is garbage, bottom feeding fish like carp/tench/bream give crap xp/credits compared to pike/musky and bass. Either they need to massively up the pay of those fish or they can put Germany at lvl 30 (which is where it should be at its current xp/credit rates).
Maybe russia is better, but judging by the fact that we cannot keep the beluga. It's not looking like it.
I don't know how many hours you have played, but maybe the games 'Learning Curve' is too steep for you.
You might want to check out this 'Sticky'.

I'm waiting for the physics to be fixed before going back to the European waterways since my last two visits there were pretty much pointless in that the fish could not take the lures I was presenting.
You can use 'M' to bring up the map. That will help you find holes where species like catfish like to hang out.
rod: Creek Pro 8'10" rod with 1oz tip (feeder rod)
1/2oz feeder no chum
bait: corn
main line: 5.5lb braided; leader: 4lb test; leader length 78.74"
hook: #6
x-high sensitivity bell
initial drag setting is level 2 for hook up and then level 3 for the fight as long as it goes no more than yellow/orange on the line tension. Too high drag on initial hook up goes instant red and will break the leader.
I do not use the rod holder and will take as much slack out of the line as possible. Watch your line and the rod tip indicator for bites. Sometimes tip idicator will start moving before the bell sounds.
#1 Start at cabin & go left to first tree. Open map & mark the darker color area in front of you with a marker buoy(s). Depending on where you cast; depth is anywhere from 5' to 7' deep
#2 Start at cabin and go as far left as you can & around the corner almost as far as you can go. Open map and mark the darkest area there with a marker buoy(s). Depth there can hit up to 10.5'
Most all of the fish I've caught were either smallmouth buffalo or catfish using corn. Pet food would catch either catfish or some of the perch species. Good luck & tight lines.
Rod holders are the way to go
Nice. I've had a few strikes time out and quit using the holder. May have to give the holder another shot.
