Bottom and feeder rods
HI DEVS
i have a question why feeder rods are only up to lvl 27 and have max line weight up to 9 kg only?when we have a 60+kg fish.
1-are u going to release higher feeder gears with russian map ?to get the 60kg +

2-or should we use bottom rods instead that have max line 27 kg right now to get the 60 kg + ?

3-can that bottom rods 27kg hold such big fish or ? i like to know so i decide to buy now or wait for bigger incoming gears thanks.

Use bottom rods :) they can have feeders attached :)

and yes a 27kg rod can land a 60kg fish.

I can't seem to buy feeder rods. What level to I need to be before they are unlocked?

Hi, thank you for your question. We do not plan any releases of bottom tackles and, also, please note, that 27 kg bottom rod can hold much bigger fish than 27 kg.

The Feeder Rods are actually intended for the smaller Bream and Carp type fish (less than 10lbs generally, sometimes MUCH smaller). For the larger Bottom Fish, you need Bottom Rods and Carp Rods. The Bottom Rods are pretty universal. You can use most types of Baits (other than Boillies and Lures) as well as a couple of different types of Feeders. Carp Rods are for specialised Carp Gear only (Flat Feeders, Spods, etc.). Both set ups can pull in fish much, much heavier than their Max Line Weight. I leveled up from 46-50 in Russia fishing for giant Sturgeon and monster Wells Cats and caught many of them over 100 pounds (over 45kg). It just takes a while to reel them in without breaking your Line. You will need to replace your Lines and Leaders more often than normal because they will take a lot of wear and tear per fish. Your Rods and Reels will also likely experience additional stress and require more frequent repairs. I think my largest fish landed so far was a Beluga Sturgeon at over 130 pounds (about 59-60kg or so) on level 48 item shop gear (not Baitcoin or DLC gear).
Hope this helps.

I have some awesome feeder rods irl, they're not designed for large fish. the tips even with the heaviest one are to soft, took me almost a hour irl to land a 25lb carp that took my bait, the bend in the rod scared me half to death each time it lunged or went for a run there was nothing I could do to stop it, most of the time I had to almost point the rod at the fish to protect it and let the line do the work..

Fish for carp, catch bream.. fish for bream, catch a carp.. lol
