Question biggest fish?

So I've been reading guides, forums, some updates and in game the biggest fish at least caught is the Alligator Gar which according to the fish species tab max weight is 140kg / 300lb but looking at the Tarpon it says 355lb / 161kg. I've read that Tarpon was in game then taken out and is back in the game but if I remember correctly a dev said they're back in game but are rare to catch?!

I guess my question is, is Tarpon or is it the Alligar Gar the biggest fish in game?

Tarpon could get a lot bigger, but unfortunately, they only come in common variety at the moment.

I'm looking forward to California for the Stripers, used to fish at Lake Mead back in the day.

Yeah, the stripers should be fun. That's about as big a bass as you'll ever find, at least on this continent.

Biggest real life bull shark is over 700lbs. In game though I haven't broke 250

Biggest fish in the game is a toss up between Nile perch+Fighter shark both currently 451 lb + change. Leaderboard currently has fighter shark ahead by 100 drams . Personally I have 447 for NP and 441 for FS . They are somewhat gnarly lol. OMG I just looked at the tarpon and I haven't had a UNI yet. Bluecrab for me was a very short stay I need to remedy that
