Get the largest fish keeper for your level that you can afford, thats how to make more credit/money, no good buying new rods and reels if your income is limited by fish keeper size.
There are two types of float/bobber rods in game, 'telescopic' rods and 'match' rods, 'match rods' tend to cast further than telescopic rods, also the line/weight range of 'match rods' goes a lot heavier/stronger than any in game telelescopic rod.
'Spinning reels' can be used on 'spinnining rods' for artificial lure fishing, or also on 'match' and 'telescopic' rods, for bobber/float bait fishing.
In game 'Casting rods' and 'casting reels' can ONLY be used for 'artificial lures' spinners, jigs, plastic/artificial crank baits/lues, NOT for bobber/float fishing.
Thanks again man!
Lvl 20 Fishcabin M, MaxF 7kg TotF 30kg $9220
You can see all the keepnets (and all the other tackle) when you Shop from Home base.
later you can get a Jigwinner 270 (lvl 20 - 6kg) + EspiraML(R) 3500 (lvl 22-23 - 6kg) + 5.4 - 5.5 mono / fluoro lines that can handle a lot of good targets like bass in florida or louisiana (works very nice with top water and a lot of small lures).
about keepnets: as mentioned before, try to use the bigger that you can afford but dont just buy all of them, you can go broke.. i cant remember the lvls and exact weight (im in saint croix getting the 30 days archiv.. day 18/30, so i dont want to leave yet to check that in "home" xD) but i went from 7kg to 15 or so, then 25 - 50 - 100 and 200 kg.
edit: for me, the best places to farm cash and exp are new york(walleye -night), oregon (trouts - day), florida (bass day & night) and for lvl 40 saint croix (for ca$h: pikes by daytime and for exp catfish by night) .
hope this info can help a bit on your journey ;)
good luck!
Which fish gives most moneys? Is it one in new york?Friend told me about this and you buying licences for day only at each lake?I got mine for month.
yeah, that featherlight will land any walleye / sauger / pike at NY (walleye and sauger are faster to catch than some rares big pikes - that 3 gives good cash).
remember to get adv lic for night fishing - you wont need to wait to skip time till the next night after filling your net while night fishing (maybe just the 1rst night if you fill your net too fast xD)
i always buy 1 (realtime) day adv licenses.. is cheap and after a gameday or two (something like 2 - 3 realtime hours) you will get more than its price.. always try to stay in lakes at least a few gamedays to farm good cash (when you can/want, try the 30 gamedays archiv. of each lake, you will see a nice income just staying a lot of days farming good targets)
-already edited my prev post with the targets i like when farming if you want to check ;)
gl!
and for lisence, try save up 40 bait coin, and buy advance unlimited New York,
NY will be your best to farm money, and i could say it Worth the coin for adv NY lisence.
as for 1 day or 30 days lisence is about how long you gonna play the game like 1~2h per day, and how long you gonna stay at same place.
one more Lisence is conut at IRL time, 1 day lisence is 24h IRL start at the time you buying the lisence.
best lure for casting and must bring, i'll say med spoon 1/0, narrow spoon 1/0.
bunch of fishes love it,
