Selling Fish?
I can't seem to figure ot how to sell the fish I've caught. I read something about them being sold automatically at the end of the day, but does this mean "day" in real time? This seems odd because what incentive is there to play the game more than 15 minutes at a time if I've caught everything I can hold and can't sell the fish?

Puzzled.

[EDIT]

Okay, I fished yesterday and went back today and still had a basket full of fish. Someone in the game said the fish are sold when you stop playing, which obviously isn't true since I stil have them from yesterday and have stopped playing at least twice since.

So there is no point playing the game if I can catch no more fish. All I've been doing is releasing fish to keep more valuable ones.

Devs? Anyone?

It is necessary to rewind the game day and the fish is automatically sold.

Hello, "A day" as in in-game day, not real life 24 hours. You can also fast forward to the next day when you are in need of selling fish and do not want to release them for more space.

Ah, I just found out how to do it. You have to click the button "LEAVE". Quitting the game does not do it. It's amazing that nobody in the game seems to know how to do this. I asked several times. Maybe it's just not a friendly community.

Thanks, mkd109.

It was that little detail that you have to explicitly "LEAVE" to cash in. This is what nobody could tell me.

The T key will alow you to fast forward to 5am so your fish will be sold
If you leave your lake location it'll cost you another trip charge

Yes as Noneya just stated, DONT just leave a map to sell your fish! Just press T to advance to 5am that is when your fish is sold! This way you can stay at the venue and only need to pay the day cost and not the full travel cost!

Fishing planet does have a friendly community and peolpe will always help newbies out but you only asked the question 6 hours ago. The game has a question mark on the right side of the main menu that will answer a lot of your questions.

I meant people in the game, not in these forums. There were many and nobody could tell me how to sell fish.

Why not just have selling the fish an option in the shop? Would make more sense. If I can buy items, I should be able to sell the fish. I didn't even know you had to pay a "travel" fee.

Thanks.

Well the problem in game maybe due to the fact that;

a) you are playing with people worldwide of which a great percentage don't even speak english (or good english) to understand or answer the question sometimes.
b) if you were in a starter map like Texas most people in there won't even know the answer! (I have come across midlevel players that didn't even know this!)

As for selling the fish in the shop, well you would have to play "another fishing game" to do that.
And the costs for travel and stay to any map are listed before you travel there. Just under the weather, fish and licenses.

Okay, good points on A and B, but I doubt some other game has a copyright on selling fish to the shop.

Thanks.
