I might need advices pls
So I was fishing at the emerald lake after buying a new fishing rod, but my line broke bcs the fish who eated the bait was too heavy. So I can't go back to the emerald lake to make money bcs I have only 600 left and I only have a fishing rod for the bottom. So my question is : Where can I fish with my fishing rod (only bottom of the water fishing) I'm level 10 and can only afford going into the starting lake or the cheapest one in Europe

I'd go back to Texas and target cats until you build up more cash.

Your line likely broke because you pushed your drag HIGHER than your line rating. You need to look at the drag table on the ubersheet for your reel and understand it.

Make sure to always make your drag the lowest rated item in your setup; rod/reel>line>leader>drag.

Open your map, I think the key is Tab or M. Using the depth map, you can see where the deeper sections are. Typically, this is where you'll find catfish.

I feel as though I need to point something out though. If your rig is balanced and used properly, heavy fish won't snap your line. Worst case scenario, they'll spool you, but that gives you a lot more time to fight them in or give them slack so they can get off the hook.

Start with lower drag and slowly work your way up to find out how much your rig can handle. That's the simple way to do if, if you don't want to use the ubersheet (I've never been fond of reference sheets.)

Unless I'm mistaken, the CreekPro is a feeder rod. You should be able to catch plenty of things with it, in Texas or otherwise. Just experiment with different spots and baits.

Try throwing peas into deep holes for catfish or buffalo. Minnows work well for bass, crappie, and pickerel. Maggots work well for panfish. Most fish tend to be around cover such as vegetation. Also, look for any sign of fish on the water's surface.

Worse comes to worst, you can contact the support team to ask for an account reset. I would strongly recommend that you not go this route though. You're better off just finding your way than going back to 0. You'll need to learn some core skills regardless, you might as well do it with the XP and challenge progress that you've already earned.

I hope some of this info helps you. There's a lot to learn in this game, just keep at it and things will get easier in time. Good luck and tight lines.

if you dont want to use the ubersheet for reel settings another easy way is to divide the max drag by the drag notches that will give you an idea of what drag seting to put your reel on with the line you use :d

for example you have a reel with 6lb drag and it has 6 drag settings that would make each notch =1lb and if you were using 4lb line youd use drag setting 3 as its lower tension than 4lb
