I got some browns on medium lemon but only as a side dish @the Lighthouse

Is the unique bowfin gone ? According to the statistics no one caught him in the last week. Just 4 unique Largemouth either. On the old Largemouth spot you catch many butterfly's now. I think the position of the largemouth has changed. Maybe i got a firm lead. Testing it right now.

Yeah, every single guide and video on em, says to use the jig. but i think i may be to retarded to do it right, cause i spent 3 sunny days, trying all the shad's, on 3/0, and 4/0 hooks, not getting anything but a few trophy, finally found some obscure video that claimed shrimps worked, tried it, and 2 uni on the same day.

On another note... Anyone know if the brown trouts are on vacation? 3 sunny days 16-18, using spinners, spoons, cranks, nada, nothing, not even a nibble.

You can catch them from the sandy cape spot aswell (the brown trouts). Just go right and pass those buoys in the water and throw to the other side. Got one unique after the update from the old spot and one from the new spot. But I agree sometimes it seems that they're simply not there. In that case i just change the spot.

Ok Largemouth bass is still at the same old position as before the last big update. Dunno why they're just 5 other unique's were caught according to the stats.

Just the first red one. Then you cast to the houses on the opposite site. The big advantage of this spot is that you don't need to cast that far. But like I said sometimes it seems that the trouts ain't there. On the other day almost every cast a bite.

well, its well worth a try, cause im up to 5 sunny days, at the old spot, and i think i pretty much tried every combo of line, lure, technique, and distance, even tried live bait, only lures left are bass jigs.
So any help is welcome :-)

Not the biggest one , but my first.
When you spawn at that peg, go to your left and find the wooden deck .

TECHNIQUE : lift & drop or stop & go .
LURES : shads 3'' / 4'' ... green grass, orange, black , white red head , all worked for me .
JIGHEADS : Any jig with #3/0 , #4/0, #6/0 hooks .
LINE : 20 lbs braid

Worth : 36 gold and 681 exp with premium

SUGGESTION :
Try not to have line lighter than 20 lbs, because , if you fish there for a good part of the day, you might come up catching some real nice pikes . Lots of trophies ave. 11 @ 20 lbs .
And they give a good fight and take lots of line out . Be aware . Don't have less than 400' in reel .

Also works from the 'From Dawn Till Dusk' spot, from spawn point, go towards the boat, right side corner.
cast spot is halfway between the front of the blue/white boat and shore, going left to the big rock.

25g #4/0 jig (tried #3/0 but got 90% SMB)
shad, 10cm(4") yellow/red tail, red/yellow, or green grass seems to work
016/0.40 Fluro
Hornet 6000
Loki 270

Spot:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=651937345

Profit:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=651930784

NOTE: was using a Galaxy cast rod, casting 36-40 meters getting nothing, changed to the Loki to get more range, and in 2 hours game time, i landed 4 regular, 6 trophy, and the uni, all hit 15-32 meters out, so why the Galaxy got nothing is beyond me.

Works with the galaxy cast as well. But you have to choose a heavier 4/0 jighead to cast a little bit further.

You can now catch these with flies as well. Saves you some gold. Also the time seems to have changed from 4 -5 pm on a sunny day to 4 -6 pm on a sunny day.

Enjoy!
