There is seriously NO REPAIR for broken rods in the game?

The game gives you plenty of warning before rods break. I've got 41 hours on this game, and haven't broken a rod yet. Hell, if you leave the lake with partially busted equipment, it asks you to repair. If you were knowingly taking damaged equipment to fish with, you shouldn't be surprised that it broke and that you can't fix it. If it didn't occur to you to fix it when it was breaking, why do you care that it's broken?

This is no one's fault but your own --- much like every single post of yours complaining about this game. Stop acting like a child, take advice given, and if you don't like this game quit playing it.

I have more than 290 hours of play, so far never broke any rod, how did you achieve such a feat? The true fishing experience does influence a little in this game, you may never have fished in your life!

And I'd like to add
the rule of use balanced setups rod > reel > line. Then you will also never break a rod or reel due to strain with big fish or snags and can only break line.
I see so many new players on Xbox now breaking rods because they add heavy line to catch bigger fish but they keep using low end rods and the rods become the weakest link in their setups and breaks cos the rods can't handle the strain of the bigger fish.

well cost u but cheaper then new rod, between maps put broken rod in home find repair and put it back in hand reload for game line hook bait , good luck have fun , can repair any and all .

well see it as the cost to know something not alot of poeple do. yes equipment gets destroyed once at 0% takes alot of effort and like 90% of the people dont know cuz whos gonna get to that p[oint right ?haha but ive tested it yes, and fishing nets and such get destroyed too.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. I wanted to break the DLC fishing rod to get an achievement
