Cant get bait on my Valuespin 6"3 Rod

I just bought a Valuespin 6"3 Rod i have on it a minispin 800 reel at first i was using a narrow spoon to fish but i wanted to change to using my bait so i bought a jighead 1\14 oz 4# hook and i caught select any of my bait to put on it.

where am i going wrong any help would be great ?

You can only use lures on your valuespin rod. You can not add bait to a jighead, only imitation worms, grubs, shads etc. You need to get a match/telescopic (float), feeder or bottom setup to use bait. Using a float setup is easiest (match rods perform better than telescopic rods).

can you use bait on other spinners it say in description it is perfect for all bait applications

The problem is that the interface isnt well designed. they show you the possibility to put bait on a casting rod. That is VERY confusing like many other things in this game. Still a great game but I needed so many google research but I still ended up wasting precious money

I agree, it's a lot of homework just to get started, too much. It's supposed to be fun, not an immense set of tasks that include trial & error with wasted money and baitcoins.
