easy ways to make money
not gonna lie the game itself in my opinion is pretty good but there is one thing that bothers me.are there any easy ways to make money without spending real money?when it comes to travelling to other location the amount of money you have to pay in my opinion is too much. You need to pay for the ticket(+ ammount of days you will stay),you will most likely need to have a license and on top of that you will need to go well equiped.that being said can you guys suggest any good ways to make money easy?I am currently trying to farm spotted bass but i dont know if thats the best solution or not. Thanks for the help

Simple answer, stay at Lone Star as long as you can stand it, low to mid teen levels, before you try to advance. Complete some missions there, collect cash and Bait coins.

No need to spend real money unless you want to support the Devs in the development of the game. There is no reason to hurry, the is no endgame.

The game economics are pretty stringent. I would suggest you study the guides and videos (YT),
and stay at Lone Star or at least the lower levels until you are able to afford to get a larger keepnet/stringer.

I would also suggest that you don't spend "coins" on bait or gear, and save them for Unlimited Advanced Licences, the first being Lone Star ( IIRC 7 coins).

If you travel to other locations never commit or pre book more than one day at a time and don't use the "Leave" option, just "Quit". And always check your licence, fines are a killer.

I'm sure others will have more sage advice.

Good Luck and have fun.

thanks for the advice but thats one of my biggest problems.Unlimited advanced licenses usually cost a lot of coins and they arent really easy to get.Do you by any chance have any locations to suggest cause i think not all locations are that good. For example i have tried fishing in mudwater river some times and the profit compared to the first location wasnt as good. Then again i didnt get to experiment with that location a lot so i really am not sure whether that location is good or not. That's the main reason why i am sceptical when it comes to buying unlimited advanced licenses

Personally, nothing I could recommend. However, if you research a little, looking at the map, check the fish species at lower level locations. If you prefer Trout, Walleye, Catfish, Pickerel, Pike, then check the leader boards to see if your gear can handle the largest fish in that category at that location.

Others will tell you Rocky Lake for Trout, Emerald Lake for Walleye, and Pike, Mudwater for Catfish and Large mouth Bass. Its a personal choice also if you prefer Float, Spinning/Casting,
or Bottom fishing. Consider the cost of bait for Float, and Bottom fishing, lures are a one time expense.

But again, the best investment you can make is the largest Keepnet/stringer you can afford, think of it as your wallet, the bigger it is the more cash you can collect.

If you choose to spend real money, you might consider a DLC that comes with a large Keepnet/stringer.

You don't need the Unlimited Advanced Licence. Just buy a 3 day advanced licence and travel to your location. Now you can fish for 8-10 or more "game days" for very little more money. Typically even a beginner can pay for the trip in 2 days and the rest are profit(minus bait/repairs). This works so well that I will never buy a permanent(unlimited) advanced licence..no need. As for good places to make money early on. The bigger catfish at Mudwater are good..catch with cheese, semolina, marshmallows and later on peas or cutbait. New York is fairly cheap and u can night fish for Walleye and make good money
However, there's a catch..do your homework; watch Youtube videos before u make a trip and MAKE notes..where to fish, what bait etc. Lastly check the daily weather and try to fish at the peak times..Good luck..it gets a LOT easier soon

Be sure to check the specs on the max "single fish" size of you keeper, you don't want catch a Trophy or Uni and not be able to keep it. You will be forced to release it, and you keep the XP but lose the cash.

And don't get confused about buying "unlimited" licenses with BC's. I've played hundreds of hours in this game and only ever bought one; LoneStar (pretty much had to when starting out). There are simply too many other opportunities for fishing while you are leveling to bind yourself to one location with all your coins.

Save' em for later.

Buy Jon Boat DLC S23 (Metal Head) and Anniversary Pack $25 (was on sale earlier this month $15, maybe on again) Best money you will ever spend if you enjoy fishing :)... You get 7d Adv no level restriction license to California etc, with 440 lb net, 110 max per fish weight, and can make 30k to 65k creds per day in the Salmon Areas, Chinook and Steelhead etc...amazing even starting at level 1. Level to 30+ in no time ... worth the rw $ ( 35hp Ruber 'Zodiac' also nice with more advanced sonar / fish finder, but that one $35 or so ) Anniversary Pack by itself will do the trick, renting the Jon Boat or Kayak as needed 5000c /d I think it is thats only 2-5 Salmon's per day to make up. After your leveled you can enjoy all the Bass. and tricky fishing areas like Everglades etc, at your leisure, the way fishing is meant to be enjoyed ...( Devs finally get what fishing is all about while making some $ revenue to sustain game :).. PS if you can afford get the Salmon King pack $73 instead of Anv Pack, that on for the real Planet Fishing Fan's, 56lb Spinner Rod etc :)

remember only buy advanced licence this will stop any fines for catching fish the basic licence doesn't cover. Advanced licence includes all basic licence requirements. Basic licence doesn't cover some species so forget about it never buy one just by advanced and you will never encounter fines from fish species with special requirements. There is no need to buy anything with real cash everything in DLC packs is re-skinned shop items and will never increase or make you catch fish any different to using shop bought gear. repairs get worse as you get higher level. 660lb net is £26,000 and it just seems something needs repairing just for the sake of taking your cash. Boats need repairing even if you never use them. So unequip anything you don't need

Skip Mudwater and just head to New York and farm walleye. I thought that was common knowledge, for beginners.

Buy the Spring Cats dlc - gets you the fish castle keepnet which holds 440lb and your money problems will be over. That dlc also includes float tackle for landing big cats which you can use on the mudwater and Neherrin River. Also later in game for species like big pike, sturgeon, gar etc.
