Absolutely. From the dock you can cast as far as possible to the left alongside the boulder outcropping that sticks out into the lake. They spawn in that area.

Try high time at night with a red or green halo narrow spoon.

Okay thanks. I actually brought those Spoons, but they're too heavy for the rods I have. Hmm not sure why I have them. LoL

can use the black narrow 7g also, and jig (your test in 1/0 or 2/0) + glow worm or glow shad. was there yesterday and dock guys did hit one or 2 from time to time.

I caught a unique sauger from the dock. Casting on the left side near that island part.

..yeah I can't seem to cast that far out. I get perch and pickerels. I have to leave it for next time. I was here finishing up the Pike Hunt mission, so at least I got that one done.

If you have room in your rod case you could buy the level 8 valuespin spinning rod from the shop there. They should be able to handle that weight. They don't sell suitable reels for it though, like the Crucianhunter 3000 (I think it was). Sauger like to hang around rocky areas and are more active during times of low light (night time best).
