I mean... it's all about you catching fishes... so the more you play, the quicker it will be...
So go catch the fishes that brings you in the most XP at the faster rate...
Sidenote... sometimes it's not necessarly the fish that nets you the most XP per fish, but how many fishes in 1h that will net you the most XP...
So hit the correct fishing peak times...
That said, at your lvl... the usual quick grind is... catfish in Missouri... or buffalo in Texas
But as you can catch a quite fair amount of trophies catfishes in Missouri... I'd say way to go...
I'd skip New York, then aim for trouts in Colorado (trophies and some uniques), then trophies and uniques redear in North Carolina, Trouts again in Oregon, then up to you... Alaska with maybe a too light gear, or safe quick fishing in Florida...
Do not forget that you have achievements, that when you reach step 3 (gold) you get... gold, and of course at every step, credits and XP... so if you go after them it may help you lvl up quicker too, but that goes aside of "most XP/fish" as you need to diversify
Now if you're up for a little thinking, maybe get yourself the pinned ubersheet project, and go figure out the best times to fish for trophies and get the most uniques you can before January 9th
Last note... many of the guys that I met that wanted to "grind" already stopped to play 3 weeks later... because grind is not fun... and sometimes small fishes are indeed fun... but more an amusement.
probably my low-mid level preferate
Cali is lvl 18.
So now the usual is North Carolina -> Oregon -> Florida or Alaska (currently that is for Alaska, some have a feeling it may go higher lvl after update) -> California.
And Yeah ;-) colorado' s white sucker was inddeed a solution... one I forgot as I'm not much of a bobber man
That said, if Alaska go higher and Florida stays on same level conversion, Florida may be tons of fun with new tarpons...
I'm now level 14 and want to be level 16, so not far to go now.
I haven't stopped playing this game. I've been on it since the releease day, and I already know what's coming.
