Salt Water Fishing?

I am new to the game and enjoying it so far. Are there any plans to add salt water fishing to this game? I have read the developers will be adding a new lake and 3d peeps next, than boats in Jan-Feb. I hope they will add some salt water fishing in the near future - fishing off jetties, piers, surf, bay and deep water sea with associated gear and craft. This would make an alraedy good game - great. I am sure I will tire of catching the fresh water fish soon.

Maybe After Boats Is my guess

I hope not too far off like over a year - it will get boring for me fishing fresh water all the time. the boats should hold me off for awhile if they are done right.

Salt water will be added end of 2017 if everything goes as planned.

Road map in short:
- Dec 2016: game overhaul/ui overhaul/port to consoles/3D avatars/Louisiana lake
- Jan/Feb: night fishing/quests/topwater lure fishing
- Feb/March: boats/sonar/Lake Fork
- May/June: European lakes/feeder fishing
- End of 2017: salt water fishing/fly fishing

Could be I've forgotten a couple of things, but this is the general idea for now.

The Lighthouse peg in Michigan comes close to a saltwater experience. The sound of gulls, fishing off the rocks at the end of the lighthouse jetty, you can even catch an occasional atlantic salmon there. Ahh I see you are new and maybe can't access Michigan yet.
