terminal tackle is too light

So I tried coming back to this game after like 8 months. My working gear suddenly doesn't work... No matter what size lure I try to put onto my casting rod. (farcaster 7.7) it always says the lure is too light. It won't let me fish more then 2 feet in front of me. (and yes I know about F11, that isn't the issue) other bait rods work, but not my casting one.

If you look at the rod information from inside your inventory it will state which size lure it is good to take from and to and the same goes for the line that the rod is okay with. You can pick the correct lure weight and line for the rod and reels by looking at their information and then all should be fine with casting. Hope this helps.

Farcasters are from 20g - 45g lure weight i believe (5/7 - 1 5/8 oz) and the line they are okay with range from 3kg - 7.5kg (6.5lb - 16.5lb). The 7.7 farcaster is okay with lures from 5/7 - 1 5/8oz and lines from 6.5lb -15.5lb.

Which reel and line are you using with that farcaster? Maybe the reel and line are the issue not the rod or lure weight but if you use a lure within the correct weight given in rods decription and the same with line, I cant see why there would be any problem.

gosh darn dingle damnit. I guess that is what happened. Since the update I had a really good rod, but poor lures, which at the time worked. >.< So now I need to get more heavy lures. Restarting the game seems to have fixed it though, cause they were bugged out. If I put on a lure that is too light I should at least make it halfway into the lake, but no I was only hitting 2 feet. Thanks all for the help.
