Does the fish ever gets tired in this game?

I've been fighting a fish for more than 9 ingame hours. I know in real life at one point no matter how big is the fish is, he will get tired, in this game it feels like the fish gets strenght the more you fight him. Is it normal?

Salmon in Alaska, 13.5 kg line and gear is 18kg +

Yes but it is based on having heavy enough gear in the first place.

yes they have and they will get tired - it could be a bug like the monster muskies back in Michigasm.

Usually fish of any size eventually gets tired, but in some rare cases it doesn't. I think it's a bug. Luckily it doesn't occur that often, so for me it isn't a game breaker.

I mean, man, dude. Yeah, ♥♥♥♥ happens, I feel your pain. But I used to be a programmer myself, and you know, that sort of bugs, they happen not everytime but only sometimes, on some mysterious circumstances, and you have no clue how to make this bug happen on purpose, such bugs are freakin' hard to catch and fix, almost freakin' impossible. It's like finding Waldo on a picture as big as freakin' California. The universe will reach it's heat death before you find that bug.

I mean, don't get mad at the devs, okay? Let's be nice. Maybe they'll fix it one day. Let's be optimistic.
