trading and giving gifts

only things that can be gifted atm are event items like fireworks some event lures and some event baits

It would make sense if they allowed you to give away things you bought in a DLC like reels etc. Just custom things.

I think giving good gear, money and baitcoins would encourage begging so it's probably good how it is. I have played a game where alot of gifting was possible and the chat was full with people asking for money/stuff. Having said that, I did wish I could give a friend travel and licence money for Michican so I could take him fishing once. He was grinding so hard to get there for the first time. Perhaps a 'Take a friend fishing' mode where you can pay for everything and lend gear for just that trip. When one of you leave the location the gear is returned to the owner. Just a thought for the 'one day in the future' basket.
