michigan sturgeon back

I am struggling to catch sturgeon in Michigan since put back in game..im fishing out in front of boat at fairytale in 95 ft of water,.large cut max depth.there seems to be some type of strong current that keeps my line real tight in that area.anyone else had this issue?any hints or tips that might help would be much appreciated.i tried sunny day 7-8 am and 7-9pm sunny

i aim to the right of the boat by the rocks at around 120 ft out 91 deep and use a 4/0 hook and let it drift to the boat. the time i get them is 10 pm to 12 am i seen other get them at other times but for me not so lucky 2/0 - 6/0 are the hooks to use

Yes they are in California, but they are also in Michigan. You can easily catch Sturgeons @ night during peak times.
