"The crankbaits now are always in the bottom of the water beyond the 3-3.5 meter depth. In all the maps. If you try to fish for example with a 5 meters crankbait where before the lure was located some distance from the bottom, now is located in the bottom. It's not logical. Choose a 3.5 meter crank, a 5m, a 7m or a 9m now it doesn't matter because all the lures go by the bottom.
I hope this problem can be solved so we can fully enjoy fish with crankbaits."

Hmmm yesterday in alberta my 7m crankbait was for the most part of retriving in the "middle" probably the same will be if you chceck michigan walleye spot...but maybe you're right, i will chceck it later in other locations

It would be logical that a 3.5m crank in 2m of water would be on the bottom. Is it not possible that the crank position on the indicator is a true refection of the crank in relation to water depth?

Crankbaits work amazing. The problem is with your technique. Just don't drag the lure on the bottom the whole way back.

i like the new patch/update topwater and night fishing ' yeah great , but ' man did they ever kill crankbaits for it " WOW" *boring. Fix it. the indacator is throwing me off i think it should have more movement should run true to what the crank is doing i think thats it.

Obviously the style of retrieve you used to doesn't work anymore, crankbaits still work well. Speed 3 stop and go style so it bobs up and down is the money

if you are finding problems with the deeper crankbaits, use the shallower ones instead of using a 23ft or 30ft use the 3ft or 6ft ones, i havent had any issues using them since the update

some deeps are completly broken even in water deep enough they need a huge amount of time to pop up so no stop and go possible

it seems that the shollower level cranks work ok, but the deepeer ones basiclly anything past 12ft is usless in most places, i personelly liekd the old way better but ill adapt eventually im sure it just seems to me like the deeper cranks are wasted now

Don't think that there's something broken. Thing is that we need more shallow cranks with bigger hook now.
