Okay I changed my bobber to a "chubby" one and it increased to 25m
Thanks
If you use a heavy float it will go a little further than the chubby
- longest possible rod;
- thinnest possible line (for the desired species);
- heaviest possible load (float and bait);
- perfect timing on casting sequence.
In theory and in your dreams, buddy! Line type never made or makes a difference, because game designers uses line weight as parameter, not thickness. So, with 10 lb. braid you cast as long as with 10 lb. mono or fluoro.
Un-true. Line type matters, but not directly. Line thickness matters, which indirectly makes line type matter.
Galaxy Cast 2.60 - Vortex 7000 - 56 Gram med spoon - 9.1kg/0.23mm braid ---- 53 meters
Galaxy Cast 2.60 - Vortex 7000 - 56 Gram med spoon - 9.1kg/0.5mm fluoro ---- 49 meters
Braid will always allow you to cast further, mono second best, and fluoro the worst. However with bite rates its the exact opposite, fluoro is best, with mono second and braid last. So if distance doesnt matter, always go for fluoro.
And honestly, i don't think that something is changed ....
